Important information
The service will run from 20 February to 24 November 2023, with one additional collection in January 2024 for Christmas trees and garden waste. You will need to book your Christmas collection separately online in December 2023. Only those customers who have pre booked will receive this one off Christmas collection.
Please note - if you are purchasing more licences than number of bins at your property, there is no need to request any additional bins. The system will generate this request for you.
You can join the scheme at any time between February and October. Please note that there maybe changes to your collection day for garden waste this year.
The cost for the garden waste collection service is £26.50 for the first bin and £18 for each additional bin.

New subscribers can subscribe online in the same way as existing subscribers.
Please note:
If you are subscribing for multiple addresses such as a second address/neighbours/family/etc. you must apply on a separate form for each subscription address.
This form only allows you subscribe to a maximum of 4 bins per property. However there is no limit to the number of bins you can subscribe to. If you would like to subscribe to more than 4 bins at the same property you will need to fill out additional subscription forms for any additional bins required at a maximum of 4 bins at a time.
What happens next?
After you've paid, you'll receive a confirmation letter and a licence sticker for each bin within 21 days. The old sticker should be removed and the new sticker should be fixed to your garden bin. Contact us on 01748 829100 if you don't receive it.
The sticker confirms that you have paid for one green garden bin to be emptied during the period stated on the sticker. This sticker must be affixed to your green garden bin in order for it to be emptied. Your sticker will also confirm your collection day.
Sticker instructions
- The sticker should be affixed to your green garden bin as soon as you receive it
- Stick it on the back of your bin (the handle side)
- The surface of the bin must be clean and dry before applying the sticker

The information will only be disclosed to individuals in the council who require it to complete your request.
