Planning user panel
The purpose of the user panel is to supply regular updates and provide an opportunity for you to give feedback on your experience of the planning service.
Additionally, we would like to ensure we are providing the services you need and to work with you to improve the service we provide for you and your clients.
By signing up to our mailing list, you will receive newsletters with recent news and updates every 3 months. We will aim to hold two meetings every year which agents, developers and users of the planning service at North Yorkshire council can attend. The meetings will provide updates regarding changes in both local and national planning. The planning team will also be available to answer questions related to the service.
What happens next:
After you have successfully submitted your application to join the mailing list, we will review your application and notify you if you are added to the mailing list.

- Contact information
- Email address (this is the email where you will receive the newsletters)
- Company name (if applicable)
The information you provide on this application form will be used to facilitate your request to join the user panel mailing list. The information will only be disclosed to individuals in the Council who require it to complete your request. Please be aware that your information may be passed to the Council’s Counter Fraud Service and/or the Police if we suspect any fraudulent activity.
